Antique Taxidermy Kingfisher Glass Dome
This 19th century taxidermy Kingfisher is a fine example, expertly modelled in flight just leaving the branches of a small young tree. The taxidermy is a very realistic piece with a moorside style base of ferns grasses and rocks. The kingfisher is in lovely condition and retains beautiful colours to the plumage. The glass dome is in perfect condition. This dates from around 1880 and measures 26 cms high and the base is 20 cms wide by 13 cms deep.
