This is an antique ship's bulkhead barometer. An English, silvered brass and oak maritime weather instrument, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Distinguished maritime instrument, with fine presentation
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Silvered brass bulkhead case shows clear, bright tones
Dial set behind a quality, thick glass plate with light blue tint
Usefully sized for ease of reading at a glance, with a diameter of 14cm (5.5'')
Elegant annotations show the current weather condition, mirrored nicely upon the inner bezel
