Antique Period Georgian Mahogany Card Table
Antique George III period mahogany card table in very good original condition & dating to around the 1790’s period.
The back two legs open out to support the playing surface, which has just had a new baize cloth put on. There is a bit of evidence of old worm holes on the back, which have been plugged a long time ago. My polisher had a good look at it & said everything was fine in that respect.
This table has lots of character. It would make a fine side table when not in use as a card table. It also has a large playing surface area, which I believe is more suitable for Bridge.
Width – 36 inches, 92 cm
Depth – 18 inches, 46 cm
Depth open – 36 inches, 92 cm
Height – 29 inches, 73 cm Please be aware this item may be in our shop or our warehouse - please contact us prior to visiting.
