This is an antique Mughal School painting. An Indian, handpainted scene after the art featured in the Seven Thrones (c.1492), dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Delightfully ornate 19th century interpretation of the original Haft Awrang text
Presents a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Handpainted on fine cotton and set behind clear, bright glass
Presents the first glimpse of Leili, taken from the Haft Awrang of circa 1485
Also known as the Seven Thrones, a late 15th century book of literature
Dressed to the rear with hanging wire for ease of mounting
