Probably made by Wylie & Lochhead to an E.A.Taylor design, this oak card table has pierced split hearts to each apron and elegantly shaped feet at the end of tapering legs. The veneered top swivels and unfolds, revealing a baize surface, and it has a undershelf with moulded edge.

The veneer on the top has minor splits in a couple of places and, though they have been glued back down, the imperfections are visible under close scrutiny.
