Restored solid oak American Arts and Crafts chair made by Young & Sons, early 20th Century. Young & Sons were regarded as an equal in quality to Stickley Brothers production and have since acquired a reputation for design and craftsmanship amongst collectors today.
The original sprung seat has recently been recovered in an ox-blood hide.
Seat width is 53cm and seat depth, 46cm.
