A Vintage 19th Century French Mannequin, Dressmakers Dummy
The Mannequin or Tailors Dummy, dates from the 19th Century, as you will see by her, nowadays unusual, wasp waist shape the age darkened body would have been covered with Black Silk but this has all gone now leaving the card frame the stand and other wood turnings are all in black wood
The Dummy stands approximately 61” tall, adjustable
