A French brass cased striking and repeating carriage antique clock. A serpentine shaped case with concave pillars and a decorative moulded edge. An enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. A lever escapement. Push button repeating. Numbered 291. Circa 1895.
