A French brass cased striking carriage antique clock. A brass case with an enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel 'moon' hands. Five minute outer dial markers and retailers name 'J W BENSON LONDON'. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. A lever escapement. Push button repeating. Complete with the original travelling box. Circa 1890.
