Created by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for the German Pavilion at the 1929 Barcelona Exposition, the Barcelona chair features the pure compositional structure that now epitomizes Modern architecture.These chairs have been made under licence by Knoll International of New York since 1948.This pair are probably from the 1970s.The chrome on the upper sides is in good condition but there is spotting on the underside.
