A Large Italian Carved Limestone Fruit Basket

Baskets like this one have traditionally found their place in Europe in Chateaux and Manor Houses, most commonly in a semi indoor setting like a garden room or entrance
The fruit bowl is set with every imaginable realistically carved fruit, it can be viewed from all sides
This one is larger the normal, it comes in 2 pieces and the fruit bowl sits on the basket, making it easier to position

Stone is a natural material that can become darker or lighter from the elements.
The Basket is in Good condition and will display indoors or out it has only very minor rubs, there is a very Light buildup with traces of moss and lichen.
The fruit basket is 24” high, and approximately 14” wide at the widest point and it sits on a 9” base
