A Fine c.17th Oak Wainscot Armchair.

Raised on baluster turned legs united by peripheral stretchers.
The shaped and slightly down-swept arms flanking a plank seat
The panelled back with most unusual geometric carved detail with bog oak and holly chequer work inlay to uprights and flanked by characteristic scrolled 'ears.'
The crest decorated with carved lunette flowerhead and pretty scrollwork.
