A 17th century English silver gilt carved frame. Very handsome frame, there are some areas where the gilding has been lost through rubbing, the frame could do with a few gilt repairs, there are also some tiny areas on the back which have traces of old wood worm, overall the frame is in good condition for its age and is ready to use.
