The well modelled cast stone bird bath, modelled as an open scallop shell on a spiral turned socle column and plinth base with an added associated ebonised plinth base, the whole surviving from the middle of the twentieth century.

The bird bath is in three sections so it is easily moved. It has weathering commensurate with being outside with some attractive moss and lichen attached and remains very stable and has no losses or repairs to speak of.

With its added ebonised base this is a piece that can go just as easily inside as out.
