19thc.Landscape Oil Painting of River with Cattle
A very large 19th century beautifully painted English oil painting on canvas of a river landscape by well respected artist Arthur Herbert.
The painting depicts a winding shallow river with outcrops of rocks in the foreground with cattle watering and a cottage in the far distance with a backdrop of mountains silouetted by the late evening summer skies.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Arthur Herbert Buckland 1870-1927 was a painter of Romantic Landscape subjects and portraits. Born in Taunton, Somerset.
FRAME
Housed in a later carved double swept gitlwood and gesso frame.

Signed by the artist lower righ corner A.Herbert

International Delivery Quotes Worldwide are available on request by providing your full name and address together with a postal / area code and a contact number.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt if the item is found to have been misdescribed and the purchaser may be liable for the return costs subject to reasons for return.
Returns authorisation should be requested by sending an e-mail before posting.
Once we receive the item in good order as supplied not withstanding notified transit damage, we will return payment using the same payment method.
