A fine 4-glass mantel antique clock, the 8-day movement striking the hours and half hours, on a coiled gong, giving a lovely mellow sound. The antique clock is in totally original condition, without any losses or additions. The case has survived over 100 years without damage and the enamel remains vibrant. Ht 34, W 23, D 14 cms.
This is one of the sought after models, with a bow front bevel edged glass door and the original mercurial pendulum, further inset with enamel. The movement is in first class condition, as is the whole antique clock. Frank Craig Antiques established 1972, with 50 years in the antique trade.
