A 19th Century Pocket, Travel Barometer.

The barometer with a bevelled glass and rotating cursor dial for altitude surrounding the central silvered dial, engraved for barometric pressure, and weather indication, 'RAIN, CHANGE, FAIR'. The whole housed in a gilt brass body with a loop top. The barometer with the original silk and velvet lined leather case.

Date circa 1870.
Height 3 inches, 7.5cm.
Width 2 1/4 inches, 6cm.
Depth 1 inch, 2.5cm.
