1920s silver Renown pocket watch by Record
1920s silver Renown stem winding pocket watch by Record Dreadnought Watch Co.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working well. the movement is stamped Record W. Co, Swiss made, 15 jewels, 2 adjustments. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.
The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and has Birmingham hallmarks for 1925 with the case makers mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case is in nice condition with just a couple of mild bruises to the back.
The watch glass is in good condition.
The signed dial is in nice condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The brand name Renown was registered by the Swiss company Record Dreadnought Watch Co SA in 1919.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
