Mid maybe a little later 18 century stag handle hanger.. I would put this at around 1760-70 I have had a few of these I would think this was made by the local blacksmith it’s got that rustic look hand twisted knuckle bow large enough to fit a gloved hand . the guard is hand hammered, that has a split in it but that’s of some considerable age , this is a used working sword that’s been around for the better part of two hundred and fifty years.
