A great quality print dating to 1792 within an ebonised and gilt detailed Hogarth style frame.

Retaining good colours the image shows a young couple meeting her mother. The girls beau presenting his admiration and love for his future wife.

The setting of the print provides us with a glimpse of a Georgian cottage with interesting details throughout.

In good overall condition, only minor evidence of previous wear to frame, colour to print very good.
