16th Century Linenfold Panels
Pair of 16th century english oak linenfold panels
it is extremely rare to find linenfold panels with this much original paint and gesso. The left panel is a blue with red backgound and the right hand panel is red with a blue background. In untouched dry condition,the surface of these panels is exceptional. 30" wide
24" high. I have been told that these came from a oxford collage ,but I am still researching at the moment Dimensions30" WIDE 24" HIGH Category Antique Wood Carvings Date 16TH CENTURY.TUDOR 16th Century Antiques Material Oak Origin English Condition GOOD Item code as203a002 Status Sold
