Description

Vivacious Art Deco gilt cold-painted spelter figure of a scarf dancer c1930s. Semi-nude dancer captured in movement with out-stretched arms. A nicely modelled period Art Deco spelter figure on an onyx base. Gilt cold-painted finish. Strikingly veined onyx base of tapering square section with canted corners. The figure with base measures 30.5 cm. Base is 8.5 cm in height, and 7.5 cm maximum width and depth.
This figure is in overall very good condition commensurate with age. Original gilt finish is rubbed in various places. Onyx base in excellent condition with no marks or chips.
