Description

A very lovely Georgian curl-mahogany serpentine fronted oval dressing table or toilet mirror c1790. Oval swing mirror with original brass fixtures. Old oval mirror plate with minimal distressing - adding to its charm. Shaped upright supports with scroll tops and patera. The mirror’s frame having crossbanded veneers - also present on front of base around drawers. Serpentine fronted base containing three mahogany lined draws with original pull handles. Raised on four ogee bracket feet. Very lovely figuring to the mahogany and gorgeous aged colour and patina. Overall maximum height is 51 cm. Base measures 37 cm in width and 18.5 cm depth.
Overall this mirror is in excellent condition commensurate with age. Minor historic marks and wear as is to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Retaining its original finish. Please see further images on our website as these form an important part of the description.
