Description

An exceptionally attractive, quality solid silver Art Nouveau posy vase or bud vase by William Comyns, London 1901. The vase has a weighted foot with trumpet stem into a flared rim. Beautiful repousse-worked decoration of iris flowers and foliage around its stem. Hallmarked for London assay office 1901 and for silver makers William Comyns. The vase measures 16 cm in height.
