Superb sized french transitional style commode three graduating draws with variegated beige marble top veneered in geometric block parquetry pattern with rosewood lattice work panels decorated with very high quality crisply cast gilt metal mounts ,supported on elegant cabriole legs terminating in gilt sabot feet the original finish has been cleaned and finished with bees wax giving great patina .The drawers run freely the locks are working and key is present and its ready to use
The size and beauty of this chest certainly doesn’t restrict it to just the bedroom as it would make a great looking useful console or side table and very unusual to be in satinwood
