A fine looking useful decorative good quality mid 19th century book case/vitrine with particularly clean cut lines and simplistic style .Geometric rosewood and contrasting tulip wood veneers with inlaid flower and urns on the doors in boxwood and fruitwood veneers with a chevron inlaid frieze to the top with a variegated marble above and standing on inlaid tapered legs terminating in brass sabot feet and original working lock and key .
Not an over large piece offering good storage and great for adding height and depth to the room and would work in classic or contemporary interiors.
