Exceptionally high quality early twentieth century Serpentine shaped commode with a variegated shaped marble top ,veneered in Tulip wood with quartered cartouche panel’s in a chevron pattern . The three good size drawers are lined in a vintage pink toile de jouy fabric which remains in very good usable condition . It has very high quality gilt bronze mounts and handles with crisp deep relief detail and original gilt finish a foundry mark stamped to the reverse a good indication as to there quality the , locks are working and the key is present drawers run freely
Certainly a piece of storage furniture that will not be out of place downstairs as a console unit or similar and would work in a classic or contemporary setting
