A good quality late 19th century bleached Tulip wood two draw commode with fine veneers applied in a beautiful geometric chevron pattern and a beautiful shaped marble top with double shaped edge , ,decorated with fine well cast gilt bronze mounts .we have lightly bleached the piece and refinished with a clear coat of durable bees wax ,a great looking smaller size commode with useful storage which would also make a great console unit or perhaps at the back of a large sofa certainly not just the upstairs
This would also work well in a contemporary setting
