A mid 19th century Napoleon III period twenty piece French liqueur cellar with Baccarat crystal attributed partial gilt glass barware, Paris, France, mid 19th century. The magnificent classical French Cave à Liqueur Set is of the finest master craftsman quality, richly decorated in exceptionally executed marquetry-work, profusely detailed shield design with elaborate brass banding. Retaining the complete set of original glassware, attributed to French luxury icon Baccarat crystal, housed in a beautiful cabinet with a dome hinged lid and a pair of side opening doors, the entire front of the box features a undulating shaped front panel, which folds down while open, resting neatly above the case revealing a striking deep rosewood finished interior that acts as the perfect ground showcasing the removable tray with ornate gilded bronze handle, fitted with a quartet of fine quality cut crystal decanter tantalus at centre, flanked by two carved tiers of drinking glasses, sixteen high quality gilt gold decorated cut crystal cordials glasses in total. A wonderful example, the stunning antique Napoleon III bar cabinet, circa 1860, is incredibly detailed, elegant, sophisticated and will be the highlight of any area it is placed in.
