An 18th century French Louis XVI period mahogany and marble commode of five drawers, of simple, Neoclassical elegance. Of excellent, long proportions, and retaining its original, shaped and moulded marble top and a nicely-faded, warm-brown walnut patination. With reeded legs finishing in trumpet feet. Typically Louis XVI, brass angular handles with original keys and working locks.Height: 88cm (34.6in)
