Description

A pair of late 19th century French Louis XIII style walnut os de mouton armchairs or fauteuils, with slanted camelbacks, large scrolling arms, cross stretchers. Each armchair features a tall, slightly slanted camelback, connected to two large scrolling arms resting on curving supports. The seat and back are both upholstered with a themed fabric. The ensemble is raised on an os de mouton (mutton leg) base, made of four scrolling legs connected to one another through a cross stretcher of similar style.
