Description
A late 18th century French Louis XVI carved and painted wood marble top console table, with moulded mottled red and grey original marble top above a carved frieze, standing on six fluted and tapering legs with toupie feet which are joined by shaped stretchers carved with pearl frieze, the centre circular platform supporting a neoclassical urn with twin Greek-key handles. Fine, elaborate carving, French off white and gold paint with beautifully aged patina.Height: 95.5cm (37.6in)
