A late 19th century French oak Hunt Table These tables were designed originally for hunting lodges in the 19th Century and make fantastic standalone decorative pieces. This solid stripped oak hand carved table sits on a beautifully carved turned pedestal supported by four animals (hunting dogs, stag, boar), resting on the original castors. When closed, the table top is in an oval shape constructed from solid oak planks with a carved outer edge. The table has its original sliding mechanism to allow it to extend to accommodate up to two extra leaves.
