Description
Two well carved sheets of oak hinged by the fabric interior and designed to receive your visiting card. It would then be taken by the maid to the mistress of the house who would decide whether she was in or not to the visitor. The fabric bears a few scars but for originality I decided to keep it. The panels are very well carved and in good order.Date1900s :
