Description

Treen is one of the hardest things to date, usage or lack of can make a huge difference to condition. These spoons have had very little use and as such probably date to the end of the period in Wales when the use of wooden spoons was ending. Few continued using wooden bowls or spoons beyond a time when affordable modern utensils made them very old fashioned. They sensibly date to before, during or just after the second world war when modernisation was in full swing.
DateMid 20th Century Dimensions8 3/4" and 9" long, both 2 1/2" across the bowl. ConditionIn superb condition having had very little use.
