Description

An unusual set of eighteenth century Paris tea bowls and saucers from the Duc d’Angoulême manufacturer circa 1785. In the eighteenth century most porcelain factories in France were owned by the royal family. At the time these tea bowls and saucers were made, the Duc d’Angoulême would have been 7 years old. This pattern is the original Angoulême sprig that was later copied by the Vienna and Nyon porcelain manufacturers.
In excellent condition, each piece is hand-painted .
