Description

Rare French Silky Movement Table Clock. This rare table clock made around 1850 and marked Biron A Paris on the movement and face. 8 Day Duration, chimes on a small bell. A nice ebonised case with bull work style brass work and enamel decoration to the front and the door to the face slides up as can be seen in the photos for winding and altering hands. There are a few faint hairline cracks in the face that are no really noticable and definitely no loss to the enamel on the face. The silk thread can be adjusted to the back of the clock on a small wheel to wind it up or down. Works perfectly
