Description

Antique 2 person carved wooden camel saddle with ornate brass mountings and iron reinforcements. Well made very strong and obviously quite old, as you can see from the pictures this is not a modern reproduction. Obviously this is of great age but it is very difficult to put an exact age on it.Nearly all the iron work is well decorated but difficult to see on the images. Great as a wall decoration or aa towel rail or use your imagination.
Saddles of a similar design were used by Napoleans dromaedary regiment during his egyptian campaigns between 1798 and 1801.
