A curious and charming vintage English solid silver nostalgic plaque, depicting a busy street scene with a horse drawn tram and people sitting on top of it.

It’s a beautifully crafted piece with fantastic attention to little details, like an advertising board & the name of the pub on the building.
Inscribed ‘South of the River by Tram’.

The plaque measures 6.7 x 10.8 cm.

Fully hallmarked for Birmingham and year ‘1979’.

Weight: 38 grams

It appears that the plaque has been separated from a mount at some point & although the reverse is marked, it’s free of damage and in otherwise excellent condition.
