Acanthus Silver

Description

A pair of Art Nouveau silver plated candle sticks, classic design for the age, possibly German, no makers mark. c 1906.

Condition is very good, slight "bleeding" on the nozzle and drip pan as can be seen in the photographs.

Nozzle and drip pan are both removable for easy cleaning.

They stand 26 cm high on a square base of 9 cm.

A picture of this model is shown on page 114 of the book ”Art nouveau domestic metalwork from Württembergische Metallwaren Fabrik 1906” published by the antique Collectors Club.
