Description

A wondeful and decent sized late 19th century bronze of a female Japanese farm worker with a rice paddy sieve with quite some presence in a room,the lines are elegant and the bronze is a very tactile object.It has a rich deep brown patina.

Height 32cm

The base sits flat,one of the rivets holding the feet has been replaced at some point and is stable,there are small items inside the bronze that rattle when shaken,light dust in crevices otherwise excellent condition.
