Description

An outstanding antique Chinese Langyao ox blood red glazed Guanyin vase.
Mid nineteenth century or earlier.
This lovely vase exhibits both a flambe red on blue glaze and crackle glaze.
Valued £300-£500 in 2011
It has a flaring mouth and elongated neck typical Guanyin style.
The upper neck is a pale bluish green.
A wonderful addition to any collection.

Measures 7 inches(17.7cm) height x 3 5/8 inches(9.2cm) diameter.

The vase is in excellent condition apart from the footrim which has a chip and some gaps,see photo.
