This is an antique 5-draw telescope. An English, brass terrestrial or astrological refractor by Broadhurst, Clarkson & Co, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

Perfect for bird watching, landscape appreciation, wildlife, or maritime observation. Equally suitable for observing the night sky

Striking length when fully drawn, with a fine brass finish
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Quality polished brass shows delightful golden brass hues
Primary barrel dressed in a later, faux crocodile leather

Fascinating 5-draw type, drawing from a usefully compact length of 29cm (11.5'')
Fully drawn with the sun shade extended, the length is over 3' (43.75'')
Clear, bright objective lens with a generous diameter of 60mm (2.25")
The flared eyepiece finished with concentric ring turning
